Sueca is the most popular card game in Portugal and widely played in Brazil: four players in two partnerships with a 40-card French deck (no 8s, 9s or 10s). The dealer’s last card is turned up and fixes trumps, and the seven – the manilha – ranks right after the ace. You need 61 of the 120 points, 91 counts double, and taking every trick (bandeira) wins the match at once. Practise against computer players of three skill levels or play with friends.
